The published central assistance is capped after 3 kW and UP's additional support after 2 kW. Extra system capacity does not raise these caps, though a larger eligible home system may still receive the capped amount.
Can a shop or factory use this subsidy?
The PM Surya Ghar central assistance described here is for the residential sector. Commercial and industrial systems are not covered under this residential component.
Do I apply through SkySolar or the government portal?
The subsidy application is made on the official PM Surya Ghar National Portal. You can select a registered vendor there. SkySolar can discuss your system requirements and the installation process.
Is the amount guaranteed?
No. The calculator estimates support; it does not approve a payment. Current scheme conditions, equipment compliance, your portal application and DISCOM verification determine the final amount.
